I have been gardening for 25 years. Those of us that work with the natural world observed significant impacts from climate change all around the world over the last year. Here in Western North Carolina we experienced an arctic blast so cold that our fig trees and rosemary bushes were wiped out even though they usually do fine with our winters. Thankfully the roots of most of the fig trees survived so our figs are coming back. Usually I put roasted figs in my Spicy and Salty seasoning, but due to climate change this batch has no figs. We are also experiencing the second year of drought which no doubt is related to climate change. So it was extremely expensive for me to water my gardens this past summer.
**Today is Giving Tuesday and we are donating 4 bottles of our Limited Edition Climate Change Spicy & Salty Seasoning to raise money for 350.org to help fight climate change. 350.org is a high impact environmental charity that has a proven track record of successfully fighting against fossil fuel development that is destroying our ecosystem.
**My seasoning is off the charts delicious and is in high demand and short supply! I grew most of the ingredients and made it with my own two hands. I have chefs raving about my Spicy and Salty Seasoning and trying to get their hands on it.
**You can purchase an unlimited number of raffle tickets for one bottle to increase your odds of winning. You can also purchase raffle tickets for more than one bottle to increase your odds. Each raffle ticket is $5. 100% of proceeds will be donated to 350.org. We'll provide receipts showing how much we earned and donated! We will tape our raffle drawing one week from today at 8pm on December 5 and share here and on social media.
